Getafe have earned a whopping 21 points from their last 10 league matches, which is almost as many as they had in their first 22 games.

Due to their fine form, the hosts have rapidly gone up the La Liga table and are on a quest for a European spot.

Interestingly, although Getafe have no wins in their last 10 meetings with Barcelona, they are unbeaten in the last five H2Hs at this stadium, four of which ended in stalemates.

The midweek 1-0 win over Real Sociedad came at a cost for Getafe as Mario Martin became the newest face in the infirmary due to a hamstring injury.

Prior to this latest development, the hosts already had forwards Borja Mayoral and Juanmi sidelined because of knee injuries, meaning Jose Bordalas’ side will miss three key players for this big game.

However, there is good news for the Coliseum outfit, as Zaid Romero and Domingos Duarte, who were suspended last time out, are now available for selection on Saturday.

On the other hand, Barcelona extended their winning run to three games with a 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo earlier this week.

The Blaugrana are currently leading the La Liga standings and are nine points clear of second-placed Real Madrid. Despite their recent struggles at this stadium, Hansi Flick's troops have been the best travellers in the Spanish top flight, having won 10 of their 15 away games so far.

Barcelona were dealt a huge blow during their La Liga game against Celta Vigo at the Spotify Camp Nou on Wednesday night as Lamine Yamal went down in pain moments after scoring the match-winning penalty.

Reports at the time of writing suggest that the youngster has torn his hamstring, and a recovery period of between four and six weeks has been confirmed for the 18-year-old, who now misses the rest of the season.

Alongside Raphinha, who continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, Joao Cancelo is also unavailable after picking up a knee problem in the clash with Celta last time out, but the Portuguese is not expected to be sidelined for a long time.

Whispers Predicts: Getafe 1-1 Barcelona

At 1.68, Barcelona are considered favourites by the bookies.

However, the last four H2Hs at this stadium ended in stalemates, and considering Getafe's fine form, we fancy a draw at 4.13.

Furthermore, fewer than three goals were scored in seven of Getafe's last eight matches and in six of the last eight H2Hs.

For this reason, under 2.5 total goals at 1.98 seems like good value.
