Travelling away from home for the second time in the space of three days, Ukraine head to Tbilisi on Monday night for their second Nations League clash of the international break.
Georgia began their campaign with a narrow home defeat to Northern Ireland, while Ukraine got off to a winning start as Danylo Sikan's first-half goal secured a 1-0 victory over Hungary in Budapest.

Georgia entered the 2026-27 Nations League in encouraging form, with the Crusaders drawing two and winning two of their four previous friendlies, meaning their last defeat had come in November 2025.
They were unable to build on an early victory in their World Cup qualifying campaign, though, with a difficult group containing eventual tournament winners Spain eventually taking its toll as Georgia suffered four consecutive defeats.
The Georgian FA initially responded by extending Willy Sagnol's contract until 2028, but the 1-0 defeat to Northern Ireland in their Nations League opener ultimately brought his tenure to an end.
Under-21s coach Svanadze has subsequently been promoted to the senior position and will take charge of his first game on Monday, with Georgia also due to face Hungary and Northern Ireland before the international break comes to an end.
The opening defeat to Northern Ireland was particularly painful given that Georgia looked set to secure a point before Shea Charles struck in the 99th minute, leaving the hosts with nothing to show for a performance that had promised more.
Sagnol's departure also brings an end to a memorable spell in charge, with the Frenchman having guided Georgia to their first major tournament and overseen their run to the knockout stages of Euro 2024, where they were eliminated by eventual champions Spain.
As for the visitors, Ukraine arrive in Tbilisi with three points already secured after beating Hungary 1-0 in Budapest.
Maldera, who is only two games into his tenure as Ukraine head coach, has now overseen consecutive victories, with Sikan scoring the decisive goal shortly before half time against the Hungarians.
The Blue and Yellow also impressed defensively, keeping Hungary at bay despite the hosts registering 17 shots on goal, although their clean-sheet record was briefly interrupted by an abandoned match against Denmark following Christian Eriksen's collapse.
Ukraine's latest victory did come at a cost, however, with substitute Oleksandr Nazarenko sent off after receiving two yellow cards in the space of 33 minutes.
He will therefore be unavailable for Monday's contest as Ukraine look to make it two wins from two and maintain their strong record against Georgia.
The visitors have never lost to Georgia in the Nations League, winning once and drawing once in the previous edition, while they have also avoided defeat in their last group-stage encounter in the competition since losing 3-2 to Czech Republic more than two years ago.

Ukraine may have made the stronger start to the Nations League, but Georgia should benefit from the appointment of Svanadze and the opportunity to respond after their cruel late defeat to Northern Ireland.
