Fulham to win to nil

Fulham haven't conceded in either of their last two home victories.

Fulham will take on Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, 20 September, in a West London derby at Craven Cottage.

The hosts picked up their first win of the season last weekend, courtesy of last last-minute winner against Leeds, but their performances have warranted more than that.

Brentford, meanwhile, have fared better than expected under Keith Andrews so far, but their best performances have come at home.

As part of this week's round of Premier League betting tips, check out our Fulham vs Brentford prediction below.

Fulham vs Brentford prediction: The hosts to go two in two

Key Stats

  • Fulham have won their last two home matches in all competitions.
  • Brentford have lost both of their previous two Premier League away matches this season.
  • Fewer than three goals have been scored in all four of Fulham's Premier League matches so far this season.

Correct score prediction: Fulham 2-0 Brentford

Fulham have played well in the majority of matches they've played this season, and have looked solid in all of the matches they've played at Craven Cottage. Solid should be enough to get the win against a Brentford side that have struggled on the road so far.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Fulham start as narrow favourites

  • HOME: 21/20 (2.05) – 48.8%
  • DRAW: 12/5 (3.40) – 29.4%
  • AWAY: 5/2 (3.50) – 28.6%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

The Fulham vs Brentford odds are weighted in favour of the hosts, but there is still plenty of value in backing the Cottagers to get the win. Ladbrokes have given Fulham a 48.8% chance of winning the match, while Brentford have been given a 28.6% chance of picking up all three points.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Fulham

Fulham have the better record in recent clashes between the two teams, and the Cottagers are now unbeaten in their last three matches against the Bees. It isn't all doom and gloom for Brentford, though, as they record a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage just over two years ago.

Fulham preview: No injuries to report

With no injuries in their ranks, Fulham are in good shape ahead of the match on Saturday. Marco Silva is still expected to make at least one change, though, with club record signing Kevin in line for his first start for the club after impressing off the bench against Leeds.

Predicted lineup: Leno (GK), Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson, Lukic, Berge, Iwobi, King, Kevin, Muniz

Last five results

  • Fulham 1-0 Leeds
  • Chelsea 2-0 Fulham
  • Fulham 2-0 Bristol City
  • Fulham 1-1 Man Utd
  • Brighton 1-1 Fulham

Brentford preview: Changes are expected

Brentford beat Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup in midweek, and they did so without some of their best players. Jordan Henderson, Igor Thiago and Ethan Pinnock were all rested for that match, but the trio should return here. Mikkel Damsgaard has recovered from illness and is also expected to return to the starting XI.

Predicted lineup: Kelleher (GK), Kayode, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter, Henderson, Jensen, Damsgaard, Ouattara, Thiago, Schade

Last five results

  • Brentford 1-1 Aston Villa
  • Brentford 2-2 Chelsea
  • Sunderland 2-1 Brentford
  • Bournemouth 0-2 Brentford
  • Brentford 1-0 Aston Villa

Player to watch: Kevin Schade

Kevin Schade is the man being tasked with replacing the goals scored by Bryan Mbeumo last season, and so far this season, the German has been excellent. Schade netted last weekend in the draw with Chelsea and will fancy his chances of doing the same again here.
