Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez was Feyenoord’s leading scorer in the Eredivisie last season with 23 goals and the 23-year-old started the new campaign in similarly prolific fashion, netting twice from the spot against PSV in last week’s Johann Cruyff Shield.
