Match result - draw

Three of Rangers' last four Scottish Premiership away matches have finished all square.

Falkirk will take on Rangers on Sunday, 12 April, as part of the final round of Scottish Premiership fixtures before the league splits in two.

With Celtic and Hearts both playing on Saturday, Rangers will know exactly what the state of play is in the title race when they kick off on Sunday lunchtime, which could turn out to be either a blessing or a curse.

Falkirk away is far from an easy match, though. The Bairns are sitting inside the top six and are trying to leapfrog Hibernian into fifth.

It has been a stellar return to the Scottish Premiership for Falkirk, who are on track for their highest top-flight finish since the 2006/07 season.

The Bairns have exceeded all expectations, and although European qualification may well be beyond them this season, it could be on the cards next time around if they have a good summer.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about Falkirk's season has been the fact that they have picked up as many points (23) away from home as they have at the Falkirk Stadium.

Manager John McGlynn comes into this one knowing that his side is capable of going toe-to-toe with Rangers, following two draws with the Scottish giants in their previous two meetings this season.

On Sunday, McGlynn will be without Louise Marsh and Ross MacIver, but otherwise his squad is in good shape.

As for Rangers, the destiny of the title is now firmly in their own hands, and they won't want to give that privilege up this weekend.

It seems a lifetime ago that Russell Martin was being hounded out of Ibrox after the club's worst start to a season since 1978, and Danny Rohl deserves immense credit for turning things around.

Gers come into this one in the midst of a 15-match unbeaten run in the league, but draws have been commonplace on the road in recent times. Whether these results are viewed as points gained or dropped will ultimately depend on where they stand at the end of May.

Rohl has one fresh injury concern for this one after Ryan Naderi was forced off against Dundee United last week. Bailey Rice remains in the treatment room.
