Excelsior - PSV
Netherlands Eredivisie - Van Donge & De Roo Stadion

This could be the worst time for Excelsior to play PSV Eindhoven who are coming off the back of their first league defeat of the season. If PSV slip up at home and fail to win, then a title race could well be reignited in the Eredivisie.

While PSV were handed a reality check last time out against NEC Nijmegen, that was on the road and they have won all but one league game at home this season. So, they are heavy favourites for a reason and offer little value in the outright winner market, something we'd advise avoiding instead check out the more exciting free betting tips we can offer.
We had an impressive hit record when it came to anytime goalscorers in the Eredivisie over the Easter weekend on our betting insights page. For this game though, we would strongly advise adding PSV to win at a handicap of -2 as they go in search of revenge.
Last five H2Hs: Excelsior have had no success in the past
Excelsior have not just struggled in their last five meetings with PSV, but in their entire history not winning a single game. PSV have only conceded two goals in the last five clashes with Tuesday's opponents, so the signs point towards another win.

Excelsior preview: Damage limitation midweek
Excelsior know that their season could well come down to fine margins as they sit just one point from safety with a slightly worse goal difference. So, they must try and keep the scoreline as low as possible against the league leaders.

Player to watch – Luuk de Jong
While last week was a major blip for PSV and their captain Luuk de Jong, he has been almost unstoppable when playing at home. After netting in the reverse fixture, De Jong will be ready to rewrite the wrongs of last week.
Race for the Golden Boot is hotting up
De Jong finds himself two goals behind Vangeli Pavlidis in the goalscoring charts, but it should just be one after he fluffed his liens from the penalty spot last week.
PSV's captain scored a hat-trick in the reverse future which secured all three points, so Excelsior will be keen to try and keep a tighter grip on the Dutch striker.
