🔥 Our Hot tip

Under 2.5 goals

Both H2Hs last season produced under 2.5 goals.

Everton will want to forget about a poor end to the transfer window when they welcome Manchester United to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Toffees lost key player Iliman Ndiaye to Man United's bitter rivals Manchester City, and failed to sign Folarin Balogun on deadline day after the Monaco striker pulled out of the deal at the last minute.

The Red Devils arguably left themselves short too with a lack of defensive signings, and all eyes will be on who starts for them in Merseyside.

Despite a disappointing transfer window in the end, Everton will be happy with the four points picked up from a possible six so far.

They followed up a 2-0 win at home to Crystal Palace by snatching a late 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

David Moyes can also recall Jack Grealish back to the team after re-signing him on loan from Man City late in the window, which will excite the fans.

Another new signing Christian Norgaard is still unavailable though with injury, and the Toffees will have to figure out how to replace Ndiaye.

As for Man United, they have reported no fresh injury concerns, with Matthijs De Ligt and Mason Mount returning to training and in line to potentially feature.

Amad Diallo, Manuel Ugarte and new signing Carlos Baleba are still injured though, so Carrick could name a similar team to the one that thrashed Ipswich Town 5-2 at Old Trafford last time out.

It was a much-needed win after losing 2-0 at another newly-promoted side in Hull City on the opening weekend, and the Red Devils will aim to continue their momentum into this one.

Man United are favourites, but it will not be easy for them at the Hill Dickinson.

Whispers predicts: Everton 1-1 Manchester United

Man United are 23/20 (2.15) favourites to win, but given Everton's strong start to the season, we can see them getting a result here.

Double chance – Everton/Draw at 7/9 (1.78) offers value, while we are also backing Under 2.5 goals at 6/5 (2.20) having come through in three of the four league games involving both teams.

In terms of player betting, Bruno Fernandes to score anytime at 27/10 (3.70) offers great value off the back of his hat-trick against Ipswich.

Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 7/1 (8.00).
