England will round off their September and October international break at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday with the hopes of making it three straight victories in their UEFA Nations League 2026-27 campaign.

Thomas Tuchel took charge after their 2024-25 campaign, in which the Three Lions achieved promotion back to League A, with the German boss's first competitive action in the hot seat coming in World Cup qualifying and the summer's tournament in USA, Mexico and Canada, in which they advanced to the semi-finals only to be beaten by Argentina before triumphing over France to seal third place.

A first Nations League effort then followed for Tuchel, with a squad missing several key names through injuries and workload management as Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, John Stones and Harry Maguire are all not involved.

They began at home to Spain and lost 3-2, having gone 2-1 up in the first half, but have since corrected their form with back-to-back away wins and clean sheets, firstly prevailing away at Tuesday's visitors in their first meeting as Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane scored in a 2-0 triumph before they thrashed Croatia 7-0 on Saturday with Kane and Bukayo Saka scoring braces alongside goals from Gordon, Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers.

With momentum back on their side following a pair of convincing away performances, England will now bid to round of the break with a third straight three-point haul while hoping group leaders Spain slip up.

Their visitors, meanwhile, will hope to avenge that defeat in the reverse fixture and put their first points on the board.

Czech Republic won the UEFA Nations League group B1 in 2024-25 to earn promotion to group A, but they are yet to get going in a tough group thus far after going winless at the 2026 World Cup and dropping out in the group with just one point on the board and two goals scored in their three matches.

A Nations League campaign alongside Spain, England and Croatia then followed, and, under the new management of Santi Denia, they have lost to each nation, firstly falling at home to Croatia and England in 2-1 and 2-0 defeats respectively.

A trip to Spain then followed at the weekend, and the Repre pulled it back to 2-1 down against the world champions through Jiri Slama only for Mikel Merino to put the game out of sight and seal a 3-1 home win in the dying embers.

Now heading into their final game of the first international break of 2026-27, having faced several squad changes from the World Cup with key striker Patrik Schick having retured from international football at 30 years of age alongside Vladimir Darida and Tomas Holes, Tomas Soucek and Lukas Provod missing out through injury, Czech Republic will hope to pull off an upset at Wembley to get up and running.

Whispers predicts: England 4-0 Czechia

England were full of confidence last time out against Croatia and will hope to round off the international break with another emphatic display against a Czechia side in a slump across World Cup and Nations League action. We fancy over 3.5 goals at Wembley Stadium at 10/11 (1.91).

While England are seen as heavy favourites given home advantage and their far superior quality, we see the Three Lions being ahead at the interval as decent value. They failed to score in the first half in the reverse fixture but led Spain at half-time of their eventual defeat and were 4-0 up at the break against Croatia, while the visitors have conceded first in their last four games. England Half-Time result is priced at 4/9 (1.44).

Following a positive start to life at Barcelona, Anthony Gordon has enjoyed a productive international break, scoring in each of England's three games so far and playing a key role in a front three in the absence of the likes of Palmer and Rashford. He should again get the chance to shine on Tuesday and is priced at 5/4 (2.25) to score anytime and make it four in four against a leaky Czechia defence.

📈 England vs. Czechia — Whispers' Tips

> Over 3.5 goals at 10/11 (1.91) | Likelihood: Probable

> Half-Time result – England | Likelihood: Likely

> Anthony Gordon to score anytime at 5/4 (2.25) | Likelihood: Possible
