Elfsborg boast more quality all over the pitch, and while that does not always translate into a win, we fully expect the hosts to breeze past the challenge of their visitors and come away with maximum points in the end.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Odds firmly in Ludogorets' favour
- HOME: 2/5 (1.40) – 71.4%
- DRAW: 17/5 (4.40) – 22.7%
- AWAY: 19/4 (5.75) – 17.4%

A 71.4% win probability suggests that Elfsborg are huge favourites to emerge victorious, and it is not hard to see why.
Oscar Hiljemark's men saw off the threat of Hacken in their most recent involvement, courtesy of a 2-1 victory at the Bravida Arena on Sunday.
Off the back of a relatively uneventful first half, Ari Sigurpalsson and Arber Zeneli netted 12 minutes apart to put their team in the driving seat before John Paul Dembe pulled one back in stoppage time.
On the other hand, Varnamo had to make do with a share of the spoils against GAIS last time out, although they would have been pleased to nip a two-game losing streak in the bud.
Arne Sandsto's men led 1-0 and 2-1 courtesy of goals from Marcus Antonsson and Otso Liimatta but were pegged back on either occasion by Kevin Holmen and Jonas Lindberg.

Elfsborg preview: Niklas Hult set for spell on the sidelines
Hult was brought on as a second-half substitute just shy of the hour mark in Elfsborg's most recent outing but had to be subbed off 20 minutes later with an injury.
The veteran defender is expected to sit out Monday's game as well as the immediate run of matches.
Isak Pettersson is also unavailable for the home side due to a groin problem he sustained back in April.

IFK Varnamo preview: Axel Bjornstrom back in action after injury scare
Bjornstrom was subbed midway through Varnamo's 3-2 defeat to Hammarby but returned to action just in time for last Saturday's draw against GAIS.
The 29-year-old is on course to get the nod to feature at left-back once again, fending off competition from Emin Grozdanic.

Player to watch – Marcus Antonsson
Antonsson has had quite an introduction to life at Varnamo since rejoining the club as a free agent.
He assisted Mohammad Alsalkhadi's winner on his debut and has since scored in two of his subsequent three matches to take his tally of direct goal contributions to three in four matches.

Antonsson picking up right where he left off
The news of Antonsson returning to Varnamo was met with a lot of glee from the club's supporters, and it is not hard to see why given the impact he had in his first spell.
Antonsson scored 21 times in 30 games for Varnamo in his only season back in 2022, and if his early numbers from the current campaign are anything to go by, the Swede is set for another excellent stint at Finnvedsvallen.
