EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: Best women for your starter teams – EA FC 24, the rebranded version of past ‘FIFA’ titles, will include playable women’s footballers in Ultimate Team (UT) for the first time.
You can choose players from a range of women's leagues, including the top five – Barclays Women’s Super League (England), D1 Arkema (France), Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga (Germany), Liga F (Spain) and National Women’s Soccer League (United States).
There are also a selection of women's Icon and Hero cards available, featuring retired stars who helped shape the women's game.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: Women alongside men
For the first time ever in UT, you will be able to play with men and women in the same team. Players may be wondering how this will affect their ratings and chemistry, which is explained below:
Ratings
Women have been rated in relation to the women's game, and not in comparison to the men's. The highest-rated women's footballer in UT is Alexia Putellas (FC Barcelona), who has been given a base 91 rating out of a possible 99.
Chemistry
Despite playing in different leagues, women can still provide chemistry links to men through clubs and nationalities. For example, a player from the Arsenal women's team and Arsenal men's team would link together, and also an English women's and men's player.
Women's Icons and Heroes, like the men's, automatically gain full chemistry for themselves, and can provide further chemistry links to women's and men's players.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: Best women for your starter teams
All women's players have been picked relative to a number of factors, including price, ratings, chemistry links and more.
Rasheedat Ajibade (Atletico Madrid)
Ajibade is a Nigerian striker who plays in Liga F for Atletico Madrid. She is 83-rated in UT, and boasts an impressive combination of 88 pace, 83 shooting and 84 dribbling on her face card.
She also has five new Playstyles, and is currently available on the transfer market for around 10,000 coins. Oh, and she has blue hair.
Lauren James (Chelsea)
Lauren is Reece James' sister, so this is the first time you can play a brother and sister in the same team in UT! Like Ajibalde, Lauren James is also 83-rated, has 87 pace, 80 passing, 85 dribbling and 80 physical.
She boasts seven new Playstyles, including a Rapid Playstyle Plus, and can play in midfield or in the forward line. James is also English, with optimum chemistry links to a number of players, and is currently selling for just over 10,000 coins.
Rachael Kundananji (Madrid CFF)
Like Ajibade, Kundananji is another fast 83-rated striker who plays in Liga F. She boasts an electric 91 pace on her face card, as well as 82 shooting, 83 dribbling and 87 physical.
Kundananji also has a five-star weak foot, and seven new Playstyles. Her Zambian nationality means that she will also be cheaper on the transfer market due to representing a less-popular nation compared to the likes of Brazil and France, and she is currently available for under 10,000 coins.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team: Objective and SBC Women cards
You can also collect free women's cards, with boosted stats, namely from Liga F, in the ‘Squad Foundations' section of ‘Objectives', by doing a few attainable tasks in game.
There is also a boosted Estefania Banini (Atletico Madrid) card available in the ‘Squad Building Challenges' (SBC) section of the menu, which requires an 84 and 85-rated squad to complete.
Nonetheless, there are plenty of women's players that you should consider getting into your starter teams, and there will be many more as UT progresses.
