*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change
Despite recording only three wins in 20 games this season, the bookies have installed Dundalk as 9/10 favourites to beat Sligo this week, though we’re backing the visitors to pick up at least a point at Oriel Park.
Rovers were toppled only twice in their last seven league fixtures, while only one of their last four tests on the road ended with defeat. Sligo have just a 25% chance of upsetting the odds on Thursday according to the bookies, though we’ve tipped them to defy their underdog status. Dundalk preview: Hosts could be unchanged
Koen Oostenbrink, Dara Keane and Robbie Mahon are all injury concerns for Dundalk. The Lilywhites put up a good fight at Premier Division leaders Shelbourne last time out, though they eventually succumbed to a 1-0 reverse at Tolka Park.

Sligo Rovers preview: Fitzgerald and Waweru pushing to start
Sligo could be without the services of Conor Reynolds, Simon Power, Nando Pijnaker and John Mahon for their test in Dundalk on Thursday. Rovers had their wings clipped by Waterford (1-4) in their last assignment, though manager John Russell will expect better this time around.

Player to watch – Ellis Chapman
Ellis Chapman was a star performer for Sligo when Rovers last travelled east to take on Dundalk at Oriel Park. The 23-year-old bagged two of his team’s five goals in their emphatic triumph on that occasion and the attacking midfielder will be eager to do more damage this week.
Chapman settling in nicely
Chapman is a new arrival at Sligo having joined the club from Cheltenham in England’s League One last December. Chapman, who was on Leicester’s books as a youngster, has scored four times in 20 Premier Division appearances so far and he should go from strength-to-strength in the second half of the season.
