Deportivo La Coruna held Getafe to a 1-1 draw last weekend, thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's late equaliser.

The former Barcelona forward has been in sensational form since he joined the hosts this summer, scoring in all five of their La Liga fixtures.

As things stand, Deportivo are one of two undefeated teams in La Liga this term. They have earned nine points from a possible 15 and are seventh in the Spanish top flight.

Head coach Antonio Hidalgo will be pleased to have a healthy group of players to choose from, as the Galician side have no injured or suspended players ahead of this skirmish.

On the other hand, Sevilla returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against Valencia on Friday night.

The Andalusian side have now earned 10 points from their first five games and are just above Deportivo in the top-flight table.

Ruben Vargas has not featured for the visitors since the opening weekend of the league season. The Swiss international has been battling peripheral meniscus inflammation in his right knee, which will once more keep him out of action. Arouna Sangante is also unavailable for Luis Garcia's side, with the Senegalese defender ruled out because of a sprained ankle.

Although this will be the first clash between these teams since April 2018, it is worth mentioning that Sevilla are unbeaten in their last 13 clashes with Deportivo (W7, D6).

Whispers Predicts: Deportivo La Coruna 1-1 Sevilla

Priced at 31/20 (2.55), Deportivo La Coruna are considered favourites by the bookies.

While the hosts are unbeaten this season, they have drawn three of their five league matches, so we fancy another draw at 23/10 (3.30).

Both teams were on the scoresheet in each of Deportivo's last five fixtures, five of Sevilla's last six outings, and in seven of the last nine H2Hs, and this can be backed at 1/1 (2.00).

Furthermore, a 1-1 correct score at 5/1 (6.00) could be worth a punt. This was the outcome in three of Deportivo's last five matches and in Sevilla's last away game.
