The Crystal Palace squad are expected to still be on cloud nine by the time the match kicks off on Sunday afternoon, and rightly so, considering they now have a European final to look forward to on Wednesday, 27 May.
Oliver Glasner and his backroom staff's attention from now until the end of May will be on the final in Leipzig, and you can hardly blame them, given that it's a chance to win a third trophy in two full seasons in South London.
Their league form this season has certainly been impacted by their European campaign. They come into the match in 15th position, and they are not yet mathematically safe from relegation. However, it would take an extraordinary set of results for the Eagles to go down.
For the clash with Everton, Glasner will likely rest a few players after their efforts on Thursday night, while Eddie Nketiah, Evann Guessand and Cheick Doucoure remain in the treatment room.
As for Everton, they will be rueing the late goals they have conceded in recent weeks. The Toffees have dropped five points in stoppage time in matches against Liverpool, West Ham and Man City and if they could have those back, they would be in sixth place in the Premier League table.
All is not yet lost for David Moyes' side, though. Eighth and above will secure European football next season, an achievement that would surpass the club's pre-season expectations.
Moyes will have been delighted with how his team played against Manchester City on Monday night, and it took a wonder strike from Jeremy Doku in the dying moments to snatch a precious three points away. They have no time to feel sorry for themselves, though, and will consider this match a golden opportunity given Palace's European distraction.
Moyes is set to be without Idrissa Gueye once again this weekend, while Jarrad Branthwaite and Jack Grealish are also missing.
