Having won the Championship at a canter last season, Coventry were brought back down to earth by Arsenal in their season opener.
It was a reminder of just how much tougher the Premier League will be, although they did get over that defeat with a win in the cup.
On home soil against a fellow newly-promoted side, the Sky Blues will feel this is a great chance to get their first league points on the board.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Luke Woolfenden and Haji Wright remain injured for Lampard's side, although Ethan Pinnock is pushing to make his debut.
As for Hull, goalscoring heroes against Man United Nobel Mendy and Semi Ajayi are passed fit for this one alongside Ryan Giles, but Lewie Coyle has an ongoing issue and could join as many as seven others on the sidelines.
Sergej Jakirovic has faith in his squad though, and they will be confident of building on their brilliant win against Man United.'
Hull were the bookies' favourites to be relegated at the start of the campaign, but after picking up their first three points, that may need to be revisited.
Interestingly, both Championship fixtures last term finished 0-0, so neutrals will be hoping for goals this time around!

Whispers predicts: Coventry City 1-1 Hull City
Coventry are 94/100 (1.94) favourites to win, but given the last three H2Hs have been draws, we are happy to back another Draw at 27/10 (3.70).
All three of those featured two or fewer goals too, so Under 2.5 goals at 20/21 (1.95) could also hold value.
Our final pick focuses on the cards market, with Hull receiving the most yellows of any team in the Championship last season (115).
With both their goals against Man United coming from set-pieces and scrapping in the box expected, Over 4.5 cards at 6/4 (2.50) is worth a punt in our eyes.
Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 7/1 (8.00).
> Under 2.5 goals at 20/21 (1.95) | Likelihood: Probable
> Over 4.5 cards at 6/4 (2.50) | Likelihood: Possible
> Draw at 27/10 (3.70) | Likelihood: Outsider
