Until last summer the Bavarians were reportedly demanding £58m for the 28-year-old but now it is being claimed that they will accept a fee in the region of £35m to part ways with Coman. This huge discount is partly due to his dwindling contract but Arsenal wouldn't mind too much.

Coman is a nightmare for defenders owing to his incredible dribbling and immense pace. He combines both to often get the best of his opponents and create chances for his teammates from out wide. This term, the France international has been directly involved in 10 goals in all competitions.

Arteta appears unconvinced with his options on the left-flank with both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard struggling to show that they are capable of leading the side to the Premier League title.
