Celtic have had a disappointing campaign so far. Despite being second in the Premiership, they are nine points behind league leaders Heart of Midlothian.
The Bhoys have had a near-perfect record at home, however, earning 13 points from a possible 15 at Celtic Park.
On the other hand, the past few weeks have not been very pleasant for Kilmarnock, as they have suffered four defeats in as many games, conceding 10 goals in the process.
As things stand, Kilmarnock are 10th in the Premiership ahead of their encounter with second-placed Celtic.

Celtic preview: Injury woes continue
During Thursday's 3-1 defeat to Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League, Celtic were without Jota, who has a cruciate ligament injury, and Cameron Carter-Vickers, who was sidelined with an Achilles tendon rupture. These players are expected to be out of this weekend's contest as well.
There are also doubts surrounding the availability of Arne Engels and Callum Osmand as both players picked up injuries against Midtjylland.
Predicted lineup: Schmeichel (GK), Ralston, Trusty, Scales, Saracchi, Bernardo, McGregor, Hatate, Maeda, Kenny & Tounekti.
Last five matches
- Midtjylland 3-1 Celtic
- Celtic 3-1 Rangers
- Celtic 4-0 Falkirk
- Hearts 3-1 Celtic
- Celtic 2-1 Sturm
Kilmarnock preview: Hoping to halt their unwanted streak
Kilmarnock, on the other hand, have centre-forward Djenairo Daniels out for the remainder of the season due to a bad knee injury, while left winger Matthew Kennedy continues to be sidelined with a hip problem.
Predicted lineup: Oluwayemi (GK), Thompson, Deas, Stanger, Brannan, Lyons, Tiffoney, McKenzie, Watson, Dackers & Anderson.
Last five matches
- Falkirk 3-1 Kilmarnock
- Kilmarnock 0-1 Aberdeen
- Rangers 3-1 Kilmarnock
- Kilmarnock 0-3 Hearts
- Kilmarnock 2-0 St Mirren
Player to watch: Daizen Maeda

Daizen Maeda has an excellent track record against Kilmarnock, scoring in three consecutive meetings between these sides. However, the Japanese winger has struggled to find his stride, scoring only once in his last eight appearances across all competitions. It will be interesting to see if Maeda will extend his scoring streak against Kilmarnock.
