Despite being the clear underdogs, Celta Vigo defeated Atletico Madrid away from home over the weekend. After a run of five consecutive defeats across all competitions, they have now won back-to-back games.

Claudio Giraldez's troops are sixth in La Liga, four points behind fifth-placed Real Betis with three matches remaining. With Spain having earned an extra UEFA Champions League spot, the hosts will need to claim all nine points from their last three games for a chance to play in Europe's biggest club football competition next season.

Miguel Roman is unavailable for Celta Vigo for the remainder of the season after suffering a metatarsal fracture on 11 March.

The hosts will also miss Carl Starfelt and Matias Vecino, with both players yet to recover from lower back and muscular injuries, respectively.

On the other hand, Levante came from behind to defeat Osasuna 3-2 on Saturday, despite trailing by two goals in only the first 11 minutes.

Interestingly, while the visitors have strung together a four-game winning streak at home, they have not won an away game since the first week of January. In fact, the Valencia-based outfit have earned only two points from a possible 21 in seven away matches since then.

At the time of publishing, Luis Castro's men are two points from safety with only three fixtures left to play.

Goalkeeper Alejandro Primo is out for the rest of the campaign due to a severe shoulder injury. Forward Ivan Romero, with a knee injury, and midfielder Carlos Alvarez, with thigh problems, are all unavailable for this skirmish.

Whispers Predicts: Celta Vigo 2-1 Levante

At 1.81, Celta Vigo are considered favourites by the bookmakers.

Considering Levante's recent run of results on the road, coupled with their poor track record against Celta in recent years, we are confident that the hosts will claim all the spoils after 90 minutes.

Moreover, both teams found the net in eight of the last 10 H2Hs and in five of Celta Vigo's last six home games, and this can be backed at 1.78.

On that note, Celta Vigo & BTTS – Yes at 3.50 could be worth a punt.
