Sporting Lisbon vs Casa Pia team news

Sporting

Sporting were away at Vizela in their last league game where the two sides produced a seven-goal thriller. Sporting fell behind in the thirteenth minute but equalised in first-half stoppage time through Viktor Gyokeres. Trincao fired the visitors in front a minute into the second half and shortly before the hour mark, Paulinho made it 3-1. Vizela threatened a comeback when they scored a second goal in the sixty-third minute but Sporting responded well, netting a fourth and a fifth goal late on via Sebastian Coates and Gyokeres to win the game 5-2.

Ousmane Diomande and Hidemasa Morita are both away on international duty, while Jerry St. Juste and Iván Fresneda will both miss out due to injury.

Predicted Lineup: Adán (GK), Coates, Esgaio, Quaresma, Inácio, Santos, Hjulmand, Pote, Paulinho, Gyökeres & Trincão

Casa Pia

Beni Mukendi and Ricardo Batista are both representing their country at AFCON 2023, while Kiki Silva has an ACL injury that will keep him out for the foreseeable future.
