Fresh off a promotion-winning campaign, Cardiff City begin their return to the Championship with a clash against Wrexham, having met for the first time in over two decades last year in the EFL Cup.

That meeting at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground came in the fourth round of the EFL Cup, with the Bluebirds running out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Yousef Salech and Will Fish.
