Brighton lost their first game of the season at Chelsea, in a thrilling game that saw seven goals scored.

Previously, they had thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at home and beaten Tromso IL on aggregate by the same scoreline to qualify for the Conference League.

The Seagulls will now have to juggle European football, but have strengthened further in the transfer market to help them do that with Femi Azeez and Chema Andres signed.

Key players are still missing from the squad though, namely Jack Hinshelwood and Yankuba Minteh, with Kaoru Mitoma.

The same can be said for Leeds, who have lost Joe Rodon for around 8-10 weeks with a hamstring injury.

New signings Jean-Matteo Bahoya and Melvin Bard have been added to the squad though, and could make their debuts.

Daniel Farke could not have wished for a much better start, picking up four points from their first two league games and progressing in the Carabao Cup.

With Brighton's home form this season though, this could be a tough trip for the visitors.

Whispers predicts: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 Leeds United

Brighton are favourites with bookies, and we are happy to back Brighton to win at 1/1 (2.00).

However, Leeds should pose a threat and so BTTS – Yes at 3/4 (1.75) also offers some value.

In terms of player betting, Pascal Gross scored against Chelsea last time out and being on penalties, Gross to score anytime at 6/1 (7.00) could offer great value.

Overall, we are predicting a 2-1 Brighton victory, which is available at 17/2 (9.50).
