Toulouse travel north in an attempt to register their first win of the season against Brest, who are winless in 10 Ligue 1 matches. The two sides face each other on Saturday, 29 August, at Stade Francis-Le Ble.
Brest were held to a 2-2 draw by newly-promoted Le Mans, while Toulouse were defeated 2-0 by Lyon on the opening day.

Brest ended the 2025/26 league season as one of the worst-performing teams, winless in nine straight outings. Their run was only exacerbated on the opening day, when newly-promoted Le Mans held them to a 2-2 draw.
New manager Julien Lachuer, in his maiden managerial tenure after his four-year stay as assistant coach at Brest, will be desperate to earn his first competitive win.
Brest conceded 23 goals at home last term – the second joint-most inside the top-10 ranked home teams.
However, there is little hope of an improved display against Toulouse, having won one– a pre-season friendly – in 16 matches since mid-March.
Hugo Magnetti and Brendan Chardonnet missed the first match of the season and are likely to sit this one out as well.
Toulouse are also under new management, with Danish coach Jens Berthel Askou taking charge. His debut ended in disappointment though, with Lyon edging the hosts 2-0 on the opening matchday.
It was Toulouse’s first defeat in five league games, having ended last season unbeaten in four on their way to a ninth-placed finish.
