Brentford are hoping to keep up with the Premier League's top five with a positive result against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, October 31, at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Tricky Trees were supposed to be thriving under new head coach Oliver Glasner, but it has not worked out as they would have hoped so far, as they head to London sitting in the relegation zone.
Since their only league victory this season arrived on the road, Forest will be backing themselves to leave Brentford with maximum points.

Brentford started this Premier League campaign quite impressively, considering the fact that we are now eight matches into the season and the Bees have only lost once.
Before their home defeat to Liverpool, Keith Andrews's men were on a six-game unbeaten run in the league, but the coach will be concerned that his team have struggled to turn their draws into victories.
The London club have drawn five games out of eight, which is the joint-most in the division alongside Leeds United; however, the outlook is bright for the Bees, as they are only two points behind Chelsea and four adrift of Liverpool.
Interestingly, Brentford were unbeaten at home in six consecutive Premier League matches until Liverpool beat them, and they have not lost successive matches in front of their fans since February 2025, when they lost to the Reds to end that particular unbeaten run.
After Oliver Glasner made the move from Crystal Palace to Forest, much was expected of him domestically, but the situation has reached the point of increasing pressure on the Austrian boss.
The Tricky Trees won just one league game this season, and it seemed like they were heading for a second last week against Ipswich, but conceded an equaliser quickly after taking the lead.
Still, Forest are a point better off than they were at the same stage last season, but that will not satisfy an owner who demands positive returns.
The good news for the visitors is that they have won three of the last five head-to-heads, including the league double last season.

Whispers predicts: Brentford 2-1 Nottingham Forest
Picking out a winner in this fixture is difficult, especially with Brentford being the current draw specialists in the league and Forest enjoying success against these opponents in recent history.
However, the Bees should be a stronger battle at home, and for that reason, it may be best to back the hosts to win at 2.01 odds.
Glasner's men have been more efficient in front of goal away from home than at the City Ground, where they are yet to get off the mark, and as a result, it may be a good idea to back the BTTS – Yes market at 1.58 odds.
Igor Thiago has contributed to three goals in Brentford's last four games, and he scored against Forest last season, suggesting the Brazilian could be on target again here at 2.19 odds.
> Brentford to win at 2.01 | Likelihood: Medium
> Both teams to score – Yes at 1.58 | Likelihood: High
> Anytime goalscorer – Igor Thiago at 2.19 | Likelihood: Medium
> Totals – Over 2.5 goals at 1.66 | Likelihood: High
