Brentford vs Burnley: Top Two Tips

Brentford will be aiming to build upon a fantastic win last time out against Norwich when they play host to another of the current bottom three sides, Burnley. The visitors sit third from bottom in the Premier League table as things stand but could move out of the relegation zone with a win on Saturday.

Burnley Double Chance

Burnley haven't lost any of their last six matches against Brentford and claimed a 3-1 win at Turf Moor back in October, so you can start to see why we're backing the visitors to secure at least a draw on Saturday. Brentford have lost four and drawn one of their last six matches in all competitions, while Burnley have won two and drawn one of their last five league games.

Over 2.5 Goals

Five of the last seven league meetings between Brentford and Burnley have produced over 2.5 goals, and we're predicting another action-packed 90-minutes this weekend. Over 2.5 goals have also been scored in three of the host's last six matches and Brentford have only kept one clean sheet during that period. Burnley secured a 3-1 win against Brentford and have scored exactly three goals against the Bees in three of their last four encounters.

All you need to know ahead of Brentford vs Burnley

Burnley could move out of the bottom three this weekend

Brentford put in one of their best performances of the season last weekend against bottom-of-the-table Norwich. Toney opened the scoring for the visitors in the 32nd-minute and that goal proved enough to separate the teams at the interval. Just 7-minutes into the second half and Brentford were awarded a spot-kick which Toney converted and 6-minutes later the Bees had another penalty and Toney completed his hat trick. With the game tied up, it didn't matter that Norwich pulled a goal back in stoppage time to make the final scoreline 3-1.

Brentford Predicted Lineup: Raya, Jansson, Ajer, Henry, Pinnock, Eriksen, Nørgaard, Canós, Janelt & Toney

Burnley would have been expecting a tough 90-minutes at home to Chelsea but their form suggested that they might be able to hold their own with the support of their fans. However, despite going in goalless at the break, Chelsea took the lad in the 47th-minute and that's when the floodgates opened. Chelsea scored a further two goals in the 53rd and 55th-minute and in the 69th-minute Pulisic completed the scoring and Burnley lost the game 4-0.

Burnley Predicted Lineup: Pope, Tarkowski, Taylor, Roberts, Collins, Lennon, Westwood, Brownhill, Rodriguez, Weghorst & McNeil
