Bournemouth preview: Unbeaten in last eight

The Cherries extended their excellent unbeaten run to eight matches when they played host to the Toffees at the weekend.

A solitary goal from David Brooks proved enough to down Everton in the end but in truth, Bournemouth could and should have won by more.

Evanilson, Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo, Alex Scott, Adam Smith, Marcus Tavernier, Enes Unal and Luis Sinisterra make up the list of injury concerns for the Premier League side ahead of the West Brom clash.

Predicted lineup: Kepa (GK), Hill, Zabarnyi, Kerkez, Huijsen, Christie, Cook, Kluivert, Semenyo, Brooks & Ouattara

West Brom preview: No wins in last six on the road

Play-off hopefuls West Brom made the trip to South Wales last time out to face Swansea in the Championship.

A tight and tense 90 minutes ended all square in the end as the highly rated Tom Fellows fired the Baggies in front only for Swansea to equalise in stoppage-time.

Forward Daryl Dike is the only major injury concern for the visitors ahead of a tricky trip to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Predicted lineup: Palmer (GK), Holgate, Furlong, Heggem, Wallace, Molumby, Diakite, Styles, Ahearne-Grant, Johnston & Maja

Player to watch: David Brooks

Welsh international David Brooks might only be a bit part player for Bournemouth these days but he has proven his worth as a squad player this season.

The 27-year-old, who has overcome cancer during his football career, came off the bench to score the winner against Everton last weekend and may be called upon to start against West Brom due to the injuries to Evalison and Enes Unal.

Will Brooks start on Saturday?

Brooks has featured in 13 Premier League games in the 2024/25 campaign after spending part of last season on loan at Southampton in the Championship, and the midfielder has scored twice in two starts and 11 substitute appearances for the Cherries so far.
