Match result: Draw

Each of Bournemouth's last three home matches have finished all square.

Manchester United will look to steal a march on their top-five rivals this weekend when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Friday night.

The Red Devils currently boast a six-point lead over Chelsea in sixth position, and a win here would edge them closer to securing Champions League football for next season.

As for Bournemouth, a top-eight finish and a first taste of European football is still on the cards. A win on Friday would lift them above Everton into eighth, which, as things stand, would be enough for a place in next season's Europa Conference League

Bournemouth have had a rollercoaster of a season up to this point. After a strong start, they then flirted with getting embroiled in the relegation battle, but are now back pushing for a place in the top eight.

Last week, the Cherries drew with Burnley to extend their unbeaten Premier League run to ten games. While they were undoubtedly after all three, the draw did leave them with the longest active unbeaten streak in the top flight.

The clash with Man United on Friday night gives the club the opportunity to extend another impressive unbeaten run and make it six games against the Red Devils without defeat.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Manchester United have lost just two of their eight away Premier League games against Bournemouth.

If they are to walk away with anything from the match, they will have to do so without Julio Soler, Tyler Adams, Justin Kluivert and Lewis Cook.

Andoni Iraola will be keen to show that he is adaptable in light of these injuries, though, particularly as he is said to be of interest to Manchester United in their search for a new permanent manager.

The current man in the hot seat, Michael Carrick, still has work to do if he is to leave the Man United hierarchy with no choice but to give him the permanent gig at the end of the campaign.

While the former midfielder has brought about a sharp upturn in results, performances have been nothing to write home about since their 3-2 triumph over Arsenal back in January.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Manchester United have won just one of their five away Friday night games in the Premier League.

Last week, the Red Devils fought hard to overcome Aston Villa by three goals to one, in a match that could be looked back on in May as the day they cemented their status as a Champions League outfit once again.

Bruno Fernandes was unsurprisingly the star of the show, and he will need to be at his best on Friday night if United are to extend their lead over Chelsea, Aston Villa and Liverpool, and close the gap on Man City in second to four points.

In terms of injuries, Man United will be without Patrick Dorgu, Matthijs de Ligt, and Lisandro Martinez on Friday.

Whispers predicts: Bournemouth 2-2 Man Utd

Not only have Bournemouth become the Premier League's draw specialists in recent months, but three of their last four matches against Man United have also finished all square. All things considered, the draw at 14/5 with Bet365 is a fantastic price.

Backing a goalfest also makes sense on Friday night. The two teams played out an eight-goal thriller earlier this season, and over 2.5 goals has been priced at 8/15.

Benjamin Sesko cannot seem to stop scoring at the moment. If you think that will continue on Friday, he is priced at 13/10 to score anytime with Bet365.

📈 Whispers' Tips

> Anytime goalscorer - Benjamin Sesko at 13/10 | Likelihood: Probable

> Match result - Draw at 14/5 | Likelihood: Possible

> Total goals - Over 2.5 at 8/15| Likelihood: Probable
