Brentford vs Bournemouth Lineups & Last Match

Brentford

Brentford took the lead at home to Crystal Palace last weekend. Schade scored a cracking goal in the 18th minute after good work from Norgaard who claimed the assist. The Bees always looked like they were going to need a second goal to win this game and that proved to be the case when the Eagles equalised in the 76th minute, meaning the points had to be shared. In terms of injuries, Brentford could be without Damsgaard, Strakosha, Baptiste and Dasilva this weekend.

Predicted Lineup – Flekken (GK), Henry, Pinnock, Collins, Hickey, Nørgaard, Wissa, Jensen, Janelt, Mbeumo & Schade

Bournemouth

Bournemouth struggled at home to Tottenham last time out, going down 2-0 to goals from Maddison and Kulusevski. The Cherries have had a tough start to the season so the panic alarms won't be going off just yet but the longer they have to wait for their opening victory, the more the pressure will grow. The visitors have a long list of injuries right now with the likes of Scott, Outtara, Smith, Tavernier, Adams, Fredericks and Marcondes all doubts for the trip to the capital this weekend.

Predicted Lineup – Neto (GK), Aarons, Kelly, Zabarnyi, Kerkez, Rothwell, Christie, Billing, Solanke, Kluivert & Semenyo

Player to Watch: Kevin Schade

Brentford's young German forward scored his first league goal for the club last time out and now we are expecting the 21-year-old to play with even more confidence at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Schade joined Brentford from Freiburg in 2022, making 18 appearances in the league last season but failing to score a single goal. Schade has been offered more first-team football this season due to Tney being suspended and his cracking goal last time out against Palace suggests that he is ready to make his mark in 2023.

We're backing Schade to impress against a struggling Bournemouth side this weekend and wouldn't be surprised to see the German find the back of the net for the second league game on the run.
