Here are some suggestions about the current crop of picks and odds on our football betting tips page about the matches that are being played across the specter during the summer preseason.
Team Information, Match Preview, and Bolton vs Everton Lineups
Bolton
There was once upon a time a good Premier League team, but those times have come and gone for Bolton who are playing in League One at this time. Bolton had major financial issues for the last decade or so and for some time, there was a chance that the club will seize to exist. Fortunately, that did not happen. With their limited resources when it comes to transfer activity, Bolton has managed to get some players in through free transfers. Dan Nlundulu, Will Forrester, Nathan Baxter, Josh Dacres-Cogley, and Joel Coleman are some of the new faces in the squad. George Johnston has health concerns for the upcoming friendly match.
Probable lineup: Baxter, Santos, Forrester, John, Jones, Dempsey, Thomason, Nlundulu, Charles, Bodvardsson, Jerome.
Everton
The Goodison Park team started its preseason with a win against Nyon as the fans are looking at the way their club management is handling the transfer market. The money is scarce because of the investment into the new stadium, but if Everton wants to remain in the Premier League, additional players have to strengthen the team. Ashley Young and Thomas Cannon are the only new players thus far while Moise Kean, Yerry Mina, Ellis Simms, and Niels Nkounkou departed the club.
Probable lineup: Virginia, Tarkowski, Godfrey, Mykolenko, Patterson, Garner, Gomes, Gueye, Iwobi, Calvert-Lewin, Maupay.
Player to Watch: Neal Maupay
Everton signed the versatile striker from Brighton a year ago, but in his first season at the club, the 26-year-old French player didn't provide the spark in the attack as the management was hoping. Maupay scored only one goal and had a single assist in 29 matches played.
That is a stark contrast to his days at Brighton where he scored 27 goals in 109 appearances. He was slightly less effective at Brentford earlier in his career. Maupay spent most of his career in the Premiership while starting in France for Nice then moving to Saint Etienne and later on playing for Brest.
Starting lineups
