Bochum slipped to a third defeat in as many games when they lost at Freiburg last weekend, though a date at home with newly-promoted Holstein Kiel could offer the 19/20 favourites a chance to get off the mark for the campaign.
Holstein Kiel fell behind after just 13 seconds of their meeting with Bayern Munich (1-6) last weekend and are already rooted to the foot of the Bundesliga table. Another afternoon of struggle awaits for the 29/10 underdogs at Bochum. Take a glance at the rest of our German football predictions on our latest football tips page.

Player to watch – Myron Boadu
Myron Boadu was considered a bright attacking prospect when he left AZ Alkmaar in his homeland to join Monaco in 2021, though things haven’t worked out in France and the forward will spend the season on loan with Bochum in 2024/25.
Boadu has quality to unleash
Boadu opened his account for Bochum in the club’s 2-1 loss at Freiburg last weekend and if Die Unabsteigbaren can get the best out of the Dutchman, they will have a quality player to lean on the final third this term.
