Birmingham City's quest for promotion hasn't gotten off to the best of starts, with the Blues picking up just one win from their first four Championship matches, leaving them languishing in midtable.

While there is plenty of time for improvements, the Birmingham hierarchy are reportedly considering a change of management, with Chris Davies' job under threat.

While Davies will point to the fact that his side are still unbeaten this season, drawing matches isn't going to get Birmingham promoted, which is ultimately the aim after significant investment over the last couple of years.

In what may well be a must-win match for Davies, he is without the injured trio of Lee Buchanan, Marc Leonard and Max Bird.

As for Wolves, their start to the season has been slightly more impressive than Birmingham's, although the 4-2 defeat to West Ham last time means they enter this match outside the top two.

The Old Gold have still been one of the most impressive teams in the second tier so far, particularly in an attacking sense, as they have scored 11 goals across their opening four league matches.

If they are to bounce immediately back to the Premier League, they will likely have to tighten things up at the back, and that will now be the aim of manager Cesar Peixoto.

Peixoto comes into this match without Rafiki Said, Kieran Trippier and Yerson Mosquera.
