Player to watch – Manuel Neuer
Bayern Munich club legend and German icon Manuel Neuer had a ropey outing last weekend when he conceded three times from just six shots on target in Die Roten’s 4-3 win over minnows, Holstein Kiel.

Neuer has been in patchy form
Bayern Munich have faced only 36 shots on target in total this season, though they have conceded 19 times and they have the lowest shots to saves percentage in the division (51.4%). Those numbers suggest that veteran keeper Neuer, who turns 39 in March, has had a substandard campaign and it will be interesting to see how he performs on Friday.
