🔥 Our Hot tip

Braga to win

AVS have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions.

AVS will take on Braga on Sunday, 1 December in a Primeira Liga clash that will have an impact on both ends of the table.

AVS have started to slide down the table after a promising start and another loss this weekend could even see them drop into the relegation zone if other results don't go their way.

Braga, meanwhile, need a win to get themselves back into the European places. At present, Santa Clara occupy fourth spot.

As part of our latest round of Primeira Liga betting tips, here is our AVS vs Braga prediction.

AVS vs Braga prediction: Braga to join the pile-on

Key stats

  • AVS have failed to win any of their last six matches in the Primeira Liga table.
  • Braga have won their last three domestic away matches.
  • Two of Braga's last three domestic away matches have produced fewer than three goals.

Correct score prediction: AVS 0-2 Braga

AVS have failed to score in three of their last five matches and considering they are facing one of the strongest teams in the division, we believe that will soon become four in six. Braga have scored two or more goals in six of their last seven games in all competitions.

Most recent H2Hs: A first-ever meeting

This is the first time that AVS and Benfica have ever met in a competitive match as this version of AVS was only formed 18 months ago when UD Vilafranquense SAD was split in two.

AVS preview: Looking to arrest the slide

AVS started their first season in the Primeira Liga very well but over the last month, they have started to slide down the division. The threat of relegation is now looming so they are going to need to start picking up wins again if they are to retain their place in the top flight. Finding form at home could be key to that, starting on Sunday.

Predicted lineup: Ochoa (GK), Fonsesca, Teixeira, Devenish, Kiki, Grau, Assuncao, Akinsola, Piazon, Lopes, Ribeiro

The jump up in quality hasn't fazed him too much and he is currently on seven goals in all competitions. At the same time, he is currently on his driest run of the season and is need of a goal on Sunday night.
