The Atalanta vs Sporting Lisbon odds illustrate that Atalanta are the favourites to win on the night and, therefore, favourites to qualify for the last eight. However, the bookies aren't totally convinced on the Italians with the pricing of evens, and understandably so when you consider they haven't won a football match in nearly a month.
Sporting Lisbon, on the other hand, are playing their best football of the season and are in the midst of an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions. If they can avoid defeat on Thursday night then they will, as an absolute minimum, take the match to extra time and possibly even penalties. At that point, the match becomes a lottery.
Given these two teams are very evenly matched, there is some good value to be had across the board. Other free betting tips include both teams to score at 8/15 (1.53) and Sporting Lisbon to score first at 13/10 (2.30).
Last five H2Hs: A fourth match-up of the season awaits
Three of the last five meetings between Atalanta and Sporting Lisbon have come this season with two matches finishing as a draw and one finishing 2-1 to Atalanta. Interestingly, the one game Atalanta won came away from home so Sporting have already come to the Geswiss Stadium this season and got a positive result.

Atalanta preview: Low on confidence
Atalanta haven't been playing well recently and they went to Turin at the weekend and effectively stole two points from Juventus in a 2-2 draw. Manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, made a couple of changes for the match against Juve which means the likes of De Roon and Lookman come into this one with fresh legs. Their only injury concern is Francesco Rossi.
Predicted lineup: Musso (GK), Holm, Djimsiti, Hien, Kolasinac, Ruggeri, Ederson, de Roon, Miranchuk, Scamacca, Lookman

Player to watch: Pedro Goncalves

While a lot of the attention has been on Viktor Gyokeres this season, Pedro Goncalves has also been excellent in the forward positions for Sporting Lisbon and will be a huge threat on Thursday night.
A player that has it all
Goncalves has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons and he will again this summer, as he has enjoyed a fine season in Portugal. He has scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists for teammates so far and is showing no signs of slowing down.
