Aston Villa new signings January 2026
Tammy Abraham (Besiktas)
Tammy Abraham returned for a second spell at Villa as he signed from Besiktas for around £18m.

Abraham has already netted on his return, and has provided stern competition for Ollie Watkins up front.
Alysson (Gremio)
Alysson was signed from Gremio for around £9m.

While Alysson has provided squad depth in the forward areas, he has perhaps failed to live up to expectations so far.
Douglas Luiz (Juventus)
Douglas Luiz also returned to the club, this time on loan from Juventus.

With Villa's injury crisis in midfield, Luiz has been able to slot in quickly, and on loan, his signing provided little risk.
