Arsenal have had some truly world-class players in the Premier League era, and there is always a debate over who would make their all-time team.

Here, FootballWhispers selects Arsenal’s best all-time Premier League XI.

GK: David Seaman

An honourable mention goes to David Raya here after winning his third successive Golden Glove and helping Arsenal win their first Premier League title in 22 years.

However, David Seaman is our pick for Arsenal's best goalkeeper, having won 10 trophies in this period, including two Premier League titles.

RB: Lauren

Again, this was a close call between a current player in Jurrien Timber, but the Dutchman was not always available in Arsenal's title-winning campaign due to injury.

Instead, Invincible Lauren is our choice at right-back, having won seven trophies in North London including two Premier League titles.

RCB: Tony Adams

A word of warning, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes both miss out in our centre-back pairing, as it is hard not to include title-winning captain Tony Adams.

He won the first of two Premier Leagues in a memorable 1997/98 season, which also included the FA Cup as a double.

LCB: Sol Campbell

Pairing Adams is Sol Campbell, who controversially moved across North London as a free agent after running his contract down at Tottenham.

It was a great decision for him in the end as he won two Premier League titles, including the Invincibles season, on top of four other trophies.

LB: Ashley Cole

Perhaps a controversial pick after moving to London rivals Chelsea, but Ashley Cole is undoubtedly Arsenal's, and perhaps the Premier League's, best-ever left-back.

Also an Invincible, he won two Premier League titles with the Gunners, as well as five other trophies.

RM: Bukayo Saka

Our first of two current players in the XI is starboy Bukayo Saka, who finally became a Premier League champion in 2025/26.

Graduating from the Hale End, he remains Arsenal's main man and will hope to spearhead them to more trophies.

RCM: Patrick Vieira

The first of three players in this XI to also feature in our top five Arsenal’s best Premier League signings of all time, Patrick Vieira simply had to be included.

Captaining the Invincibles side, he won three Premier League titles with the Gunners, as well as seven other trophies.

LCM: Declan Rice

Our second current player to make this XI is Declan Rice, Arsenal's most expensive player ever at £105m.

He has been worth every penny and more though after driving the Gunners to the Premier League titles, with their fans even chanting: “Declan Rice, we got him half price!”

LM: Robert Pires

Perhaps a close call with Alexis Sanchez, who is one of the standout Arsenal players of the Emirates era, but we had to include another Invincible in Robert Pires.

Having linked up so well with the strikers in this XI, he was twice a Premier League champion, as well as a three-time FA Cup winner.

RS: Dennis Bergkamp

No surprises that yet another Invincible makes the XI in Dutch maestro Dennis Bergkamp.

A true magician on the ball, he won three Premier League titles with Arsenal, in addition to seven other trophies.

LS: Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry was never not going to be in this XI, as he is not just Arsenal's best player of all time, but perhaps the best the Premier League has ever seen.

His legacy in North London is unmatched, as he is the club's greatest-ever goalscorer, and he also won the Golden Boot with 30 goals in the Invincibles season.
