* Betting odds were correct at the time of publication but are subject to change

Antwerp's title hopes appear to have faded away as they now sit sixteen points off the league leaders Union Saint-Gilloise, who have a four-point lead over second-placed Anderlecht. Antwerp still head into Sunday's home game against Charleroi as the bookmakers' favourite and will keep plugging away until they are mathematically out of the title race.

Antwerp vs Charleroi prediction – Betting tips & odds

Hot Tip – Antwerp to Win

  • Antwerp have won three of their last four home games against Charleroi in all competitions.
  • Antwerp have picked up three wins from their last six league and cup games.

Another reason that we have backed Antwerp to win as our main prediction is that Charleroi have lost three of their last five matches in all competitions, including a 5-2 defeat to Antwerp in the Belgian Cup.

Player to Watch: Michel Balikwisha

Michel Balikwisha has been in decent form for Antwerp this season both scoring and creating goals on a regular basis.

The 22-year-old has been a regular in the Antwerp side since making the move from Standard Liege in 2021 and last season scored seven league goals. This season, Balikwisha already has five goals to his name as well as five assists, making him Antwerp's most creative player and their joint-second-highest goalscorer behind Janssen.
