Alaves' struggles continued with a 1-1 draw at Elche over the weekend. They have now failed to win back-to-back games and have managed only one victory in their last six outings.
As things stand, the hosts are in the relegation zone at 18th place. With only three matches left to play, they are two points from safety, so every remaining fixture is crucial.
Coach Quique Sanchez Flores cannot call on the services of Lucas Boye for this game, as the forward is yet to recover from a hamstring injury. Jon Guridi, Toni Martinez, and Carlos Benavidez will need late fitness tests to determine their availability.
