It has been a rough week for Al Nassr, starting with the missed opportunity to clinch the title when they hosted Al Hilal in the last round of the Saudi Pro League. Al Nass had the lead deep into the stoppage time, but in the final seconds of the game, Al Hilal scored an equaliser. Well, it was actually an own goal by Al Nassr's goalkeeper Bento after a collision with his teammate Inigo Martinez, a huge and bizarre blunder that could cost Al Nassr the title.

A few days after this, Al Nassr were set to meet Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final. While winning the weaker continental competition is not enough for Al Nassr's ambitions, lifting a continental trophy would've been a great preamble to lifting the Saudi Pro League trophy, especially with the final being played at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Al Nassr's ground. However, Gamba Osaka have spoiled the party and left Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates in tears, once again, after a 1-0 loss in the final.

If Al Nassr beat Damac on Thursday and win the title, this will all be forgotten, but the pressure is now sky-high and the last two results could put a seed of doubt into Al Nassr's players as they get ready for the biggest game of the season.

On top of that, Al Nassr could be without Marcelo Brozovic in this match due to a groin strain, while Abdullah Al-Khaibari is also a doubt. Meanwhile, Raghed Al-Najjar and Sam Al-Najei are definitely out with injuries.

When it comes to Damac, they enter this match still fighting for survival. Heading into this game, they are two points ahead of Al Riyadh and only one of them will play in the top flight next season. Damac have broken a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over Al Fayha in the last round, which got them out of the relegation zone and ahead of Al Riyadh.

That being said, Al Riyadh will host Al Okhdood in the last round, an already-relegated team, so there's a good chance that Al Riyadh will get the three points. If that happens, Damac need to avoid a loss against Al Nassr, or suffer relegation.

Valentín Vada is suspended for Damac, so he will miss the final game of the season.

Whispers predicts: Al Nassr 3-1 Damac

Al Nassr have a unique chance to win their first title since signing Cristiano Ronaldo and they have a chance of doing it at home, against a team that's a relegation candidate. So, it's hard to see the guests resisting Al Nassr in this game, but it's not that hard to see them scoring, especially with the enticing 6/5 odds on both teams to score.

On the other hand, the hosts will push to score as early and as much as possible and leave nothing to chance, so betting on Al Nassr to score three or more goals at 4/7 odds sounds like a reasonable bet.

Finally, we can see Ronaldo scoring two or more goals at 2/1 odds to clinch the title for Al Nassr. It might be sentimental to expect that, but it's also backed by stats since Ronaldo has scored seven goals in five matches against Damac.
