Al Ittihad vs Al Khaleej Lineups and Last Match

Al Ittihad

Al Ittihad would have been expecting a tough game away at Al Ittifaq last time out, and that's just what they got. A goal from Grorginio Wijnaldum put the home side in front shortly before the halftime interval but Al Ittihad responded well in the second half, equalising in the fifty-fourth minute through Abderrazzaq Hamed Allah and seeing out a 1-1 draw.

Predicted Lineup – Grohe (GK), Kadesh, Felipe, Bamasud, Al Shanqiti, Al Menhali, Coronado, Fabinho, Al Ghamdi, Benzema & Hamed Allah

Al Khaleej

Al Khaleej were outplayed in their last match away at Al Wehda, losing 3-1 in the end. The visitors went behind early on but got back onto level terms via a twenty-second-minute penalty from Fabio Martins but despite going in all square at the break, AlWehda scored twice in the second forty-five without reply to win the game deservedly.

Predicted Lineup – Al Haidari (GK), López, Rebocho, Al Khabrani, Al Hamsal, Jung, Al Terais, Rodrigues, Martins, Hamzi & Sherif

Player to Watch: Igor Coronado

Al Ittihad's Brazilian midfielder is enjoying his third season with the club following a 2021 move from Sharjah.

The 31-year-old has always chipped in with goals but this season he looks set to beat his best tally with Ittihad, the six he scored last season, as he already has four goals to his name in the current campaign.

It's not only goals that Coronado provides from midfield, the Brazilian is the leading assist provider for Ittihad this season with five to his name. We're backing Coronado to put in another good performance at home to Al Khaleej this Thursday.
