AaB vs Copenhagen: Today's Top Two Tips

Both AaB and Copenhagen are looking to bounce back from opening day defeats this weekend. Copenhagen are the bookmaker's pick to win but we're expecting a very close and competitive 90-minutes that should provide plenty of entertainment for the neutrals.

Copenhagen to Win

Recent history suggests that Copenhagen are best placed to win on Sunday and after their shock defeat to newly promoted Horsens, we're expecting a response from the visitors this weekend. Copenhagen have won four of their last five encounters with AaB, three of which have arrived away from home. The hosts have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions, while Copenhagen have won four of their last six fixtures.

Over 2.5 Goals

We're expecting goals in this game as over 2.5 goals have been scored in five of the last six league meetings between these two clubs. Over 2.5 goals have also been scored in each of AaB's last six outings and in four of Copenhagen's last six matches, adding further weight to our second prediction for Sunday's Superliga match-up.

Copenhagen looking to bounce back from shock defeat

AaB gave a good account of themselves away at Viborg on the opening day of the season but came away with nothing to show for their efforts. A goal in the 43rd-minute put Viborg in front at the break but AaB responded well in the second forty-five, equalising through Hagelskjaer in the 77th-minute. However, the away side couldn't hold on and slipped behind again with 5-minute left on the clock and although Viborg had a man sent-off in stoppage-time, AaB couldn't carve out another equaliser and the game ended 2-1.

AaB Predicted Lineup – Posavec, Ahlmann, Pallesen, Ross, Kramer, Fossum, Ferreira, Højholt, Makarić, Sousa & Prip

Copenhagen were the big favourites to win at home to newly-promoted Horsens on the opening day of the season, but things didn't go to plan for the Danish giants. The first half ended goalless despite the best efforts of the home side and just after the hour mark, Copenhagen were hit with a sucker punch as Musonda fired Horsens in front. Try as they did, Copenhagen couldn't carve out an equaliser and a game that was supposed to end in victory ended in defeat for title favourites.

Copenhagen Predicted Lineup – Grabara, Boilesen, Vavro, Diks, Jelert, Falk, Claesson, Lerager, Biel, Jóhannesson & Haraldsson

Team News

AaB: Daniel Granli could miss out on Sunday but is expected back in action later this month.

Copenhagen: Akinkunmi Amoo is the main injury concern for the visitors this weekend.
