West Ham will take on Tottenham on Saturday, 13 September, in one of two London derbies to take place this weekend in the Premier League.
The Hammers have started the season poorly, but a win away at Nottingham Forest just before the international break has relieved some of the pressure on Graham Potter.
Spurs, meanwhile, had started brilliantly with two wins from their first two games, but defeat at home to Bournemouth last time out has soured things somewhat.

West Ham vs Tottenham prediction: More misery for Potter
Key Stats
- Tottenham won their only other Premier League away match this season 2-0.
- Both of West Ham's Premier League losses this season have been by a margin of two goals or more.
- More than two goals have been scored in all four of West Ham's competitive matches this season.
Correct score prediction: West Ham 1-3 Tottenham
West Ham will be buoyed by their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, but it's still difficult to ignore their performances against Chelsea and Sunderland. Spurs were excellent in their only other away match this season, beating Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium, and they should be up for this one, given that it's a London derby.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Spurs
Tottenham have the superior record in recent matches between these two clubs, losing just one of their last five matches against West Ham. The Hammers actually have a better recent record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than they do at the London Stadium, and haven't beaten Tottenham at home since 2021.

Brentford preview: A striker dilemma for Potter
Graham Potter has a conundrum on his hands this weekend after Niclas Fullkrug returned from international duty with an injury that will keep him out of the match. Potter now has to decide whether to throw Callum Wilson in from the start or if Jarrod Bowen in a central role would be a better choice.
Predicted lineup: Hermansen (GK), Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Kilman, Diouf, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Fernandes, Paqueta, Summerville, Bowen
Last five matches
- Nottingham Forest 0-3 West Ham
- Wolves 3-2 West Ham
- West Ham 1-5 Chelsea
- Sunderland 3-0 West Ham
- West Ham 1-1 Lille
Tottenham preview: A first look at two new players
Tottenham went big late in the transfer window, and this will be the first time that we get to take a look at Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani in the club's colours. In terms of injuries, Kota Takai, Radu Dragsuin, Dejan Kulusevski and James Madison are unavailable to Thomas Frank.
Predicted lineup: Vicario (GK), Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence, Bentancur, Palhinha, Kudus, Sarr, Simons, Richarlison
Last five matches
- Tottenham 0-1 Bournemouth
- Man City 0-2 Tottenham
- Tottenham 3-0 Burnley
- PSG 2-2 Tottenham
- Bayern Munich 4-0 Tottenham
Player to watch: Richarlison

Richarlison has started the season relatively well for Tottenham, but his place in the club's starting XI is now under threat following the arrival of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG. Richarlison is expected to retain his place in the team for the match against West Ham but he will need to ensure he is scoring goals and playing well to keep Kolo Muani out of the team.
