🔥 Our Hot tip

Bowen to score anytime

Bowen has scored in the last three home H2Hs.

After agonisingly crashing out of the FA Cup on penalties, West Ham United's attention turns back to Premier League survival as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium on Friday night.

The Hammers lost out in the quarter-final to Leeds United, despite a dramatic comeback from two goals down to draw 2-2 in normal time.

As for Wolves, this is their first outing since before the international break, where they earned a respectable 2-2 draw at Brentford.

West Ham would have seen exiting the FA Cup to Leeds on home soil as a missed opportunity, especially given they would have faced Chelsea in the semi-final at Wembley Stadium and not favourites Manchester City.

Still, they can now concentrate on Premier League survival, as they are just one point away from safety in the relegation zone.

The Hammers will be favourites on paper to beat rock-bottom Wolves at home, but the added pressure on the game means it will not be an easy task.

Nuno Espirito Santo also faces the club he made a name for himself in English football, which adds another narrative to this intriguing clash.

As for Wolves, their fate of going down to the Championship is almost sealed, although they have put up more of a fight under Rob Edwards.

Impressive wins against Aston Villa and Liverpool and a draw to leaders Arsenal have seen the Wanderers close the gap at the bottom, although they are still 13 points from safety with just seven matches to play.

Nonetheless, the pressure is not really on them, so they will feel that they can play with freedom.

That poses a threat to West Ham, who will be desperate for victory in front of their home fans.

Whispers predicts: West Ham United 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

West Ham are understandably 84/100 favourites with bookmakers on home soil, and we feel inclined to agree with it being such an important match for them.

In terms of our bets, we are going for BTTS - Yes at 3/4, as both sides have kept the joint-fewest clean sheets in the league alongside Burnley (four).

Our next pick is Bowen to score anytime at 2/1, as Jarrod Bowen has scored a career-high six Premier League goals against Wolves.

Lastly, we are going for Correct score - 2-1 at 15/2, which is a repeat of the scoreline when these two sides last met at the London Stadium in 2024.

📈 Whispers' Tips

> BTTS - Yes at 3/4 | Likelihood: Probable

> Bowen to score anytime at 2/1 | Likelihood: Possible

> Correct score - 2-1 at 15/2 | Likelihood: Outsider
