Villarreal were humiliated in their midweek UEFA Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain, as they were beaten 6-0 at home by the Ligue 1 champions.
The hosts have now lost back-to-back games across two competitors, failing to find the net during that stretch.
Ahead of this encounter, Inigo Perez's men are 10th in La Liga, having earned 12 points from 11 league matches. Interestingly, seven of those points have come on the road, and the hosts have managed one win in five top-flight home games.
