Vejle and Randers finished second and third from bottom last season with just four points separating the pair in the final standings.
Both clubs will be desperate to get off to a winning start this weekend as victories came at a premium last season.
Visitors Randers seem to be the favourite to win with most bookmakers but the hosts have last season's Danish Superliga top goalscorer in their side.

Vejle preview: Looking to Onugkha for inspiration
Vejle's final game of the 2023/24 campaign came against Sunday's guests Randers at the Cepheus Park Randers.
The match proved to be tight and tense as most expected from two of the bottom three teams in the division and looked like it was going to end goalless heading into the final ten minutes.
However, fortune favoured Randers that day as Vejle's Raúl Albentosa put through his own goal in the 81st minute to hand the home side all three points.
Predicted lineup: Vekić (GK), Albornoz, Gundelund, Provstgaard, Kolinger, Lauritsen, Barry, Ngbakoto, Onugkha, Juwara & Ofori

Player to watch – German Onugkha
Vejle striker German Onugkha took time to settle in Denmark after making the move from Krasnodar on loan in 2021, scoring five goals in 17 league games before signing permanently.
Following spells on loan at Krylia Sovetov, Rubin Kazan and Bnei Sakhnin where he only managed to score two goals in total, Onugkha returned to Vejle last season in an impressive manner.
Onugkha top scored in the Superliga last season despite Vejle's poor performance
The 28-year-old striker scored 15 goals in the Danish Superliga, finishing as the division's top scorer and we're excited to see how he performs against Randers in the 2024/25 season opener.
