Valencia vs Las Palmas lineups
Valencia
Valencia kick-started their new La Liga campaign with a 2-1 victory at Sevilla last week; they've enjoyed some fine form since the start of the summer, winning five of their last six matches. Ruben Baraja will look to steer his team to their second consecutive win, and he'll fancy his side's chances against Las Palmas. Alberto Mari and Marcos Andre are both ruled out for Los Che.
Predicted lineups: Mamardashvili, Correia, Paulista, Özkaçar, Gayà, Pérez, Diakhaby, Pepelu, Noguerol, Almeida, Duro.
Las Palmas
On the other hand, Las Palmas played out a 1-1 draw with Mallorca last weekend; they've aren't particularly coming into this match with a ton of confidence, as they won just one of their last five matches. Garcia Pimienta's side will set their sights on their first win of the season as they visit the Mestalla on Friday. Alberto Moleiro and Fabio Gonzalez are both in the recovery room, and will be unavailable for the visitors.
Predicted lineups: Valles, Lemos, Coco, Suárez, Cardona, Loiodice, Muñoz, Pejino, Rodríguez, Viera, Cardona.

Player to watch: Jonathan Viera
We would like to point out that Mallorca finished second in the Segunda Division last season, gaining automatic promotion back to the top tier of Spanish football. Interestingly, Jonathan Viera was arguably their best player last season, as scored seven goals whilst assisting five more. The 33 year old bagged his first goal of the season in Las Palmas' 1-1 draw with Mallorca last weekend. He'll take on his former team today, and it'll be interesting to see how he matches up against Los Che's defense.
