Union SG preview: Looking to avoid three defeats on the run
Union SG will feel very disappointed that they didn't make more of their home advantage last week against Ajax, as they now need to win by two clear goals to take this game into extra time.
The hosts had 20 touches in the Dutch side's box but only managed to get four of their 13 shots on target, while Ajax only had nine touches in the Union SG box. Seven of their 10 efforts hit the target, and two beat Luxembourg goalkeeper Anthony Moris.
Midfielder Alessio Castro-Montes is the main injury concern for Sebastien Pocognoli's side.
Predicted lineup: Moris (GK), Burgess, Sykes, Leysen, Niang, Vanhoutte, Ait El Hadj, Sadiki, Ivanovic, Khalaili & Fuseini

Player to watch: Kian Fitz-Jim
21-year-old midfielder Kain Fitz-Jim first featured in the Ajax senior side during the 2022/23 campaign but this season the talented youngster has featured regularly for the Dutch giants.

Fitz-Jim, who has two goals in the Eredivisie this season, has played his best football in the Europa League where he joint-top scores for Ajax with four goals.
The 21-year-old is enjoying his breakthrough season
Some so of their key senior attacking players out injured, Ajax will be looking to the likes of Fitz-Jim to get forward and offer a goal threat on Thursday night where there is still a big job to be done despite their two-goal cushion.
