🔥 Our Hot tip

Under 2.5 total goals

Union Berlin have not conceded more than once in five games.

Bayern Munich will be looking to extend their remarkable run of winning every single game they have played so far this season when they travel to the German capital to take on Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon. The Bavarians are fresh from impressively beating the UEFA Champions League (UCL) holders PSG 2-1 at the Parc des Princes in midweek.

Meanwhile, Union were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Freiburg in the Bundesliga last time out. Bayern will provide a whole different test for the hosts though, and on current form, the visitors look impossible to stop.

Union Berlin vs Bayern Munich prediction: Bavarians to beat another opponent?

Key stats

  • Union’s last four winless games have also seen them fail to score.
  • Bayern have scored 2+ goals in every match so far this season.
  • Bayern are unbeaten in all previous 13 H2Hs in total in all competitions.

Correct score prediction: Union Berlin 0-2 Bayern Munich

Union have been fairly strong defensively of late, which suggests that they may be able to limit Bayern in terms of the amount of goals they could score. The visitors should still be able to emerge victorious though, and we are also backing them to keep a clean sheet.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Bayern big favourites with bookmakers

  • HOME: 10/1 (11.00) – 9.1%
  • DRAW: 11/2 (6.50) – 15.4%
  • AWAY: 2/9 (1.22) – 81.8%

As shown by the implied probabilities, Bayern are unsurprisingly the huge favourites with bookmakers to continue their astonishing winning run here.

A draw can still be backed at just over 15%, while a Union victory on home soil is deemed highly unlikely at just over 9%. Also, feel free to check out our Today’s betting tips page, as well as our Bundesliga predictions & betting tips page.

Most recent H2Hs: Bayern unbeatable?

As mentioned before, Bayern are unbeaten in the previous 13 meetings in total in all competitions against Union. They were held to a 1-1 draw in this same fixture last season though, which could give Union some form of encouragement.

Player to watch: Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz had quite the eventful first half against PSG in midweek. Indeed, the Colombian winger ended up scoring what turned up to be two crucial goals to win the game, but also got sent off.

Still, Diaz’s suspension does not translate to domestic football, and so he will be available to potentially cause havoc again against Union.
