Udinese turned in another solid team display in their final outing before the international break, when they secured a 2-0 victory over Genoa on March 20.
Following a goalless first half at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp finished off a well-worked team goal to break the deadlock in the 66th minute before Keinan Davies made sure of the result with a 96th-minute strike.
With that result, Udinese continue to impress on their travels this year, taking three wins and one draw from six Serie A away matches since January, with defeats only against Lecce and Bologna.
While home comfort awaits, Runjaic’s men have blown hot and cold at the Bluenergy Stadium this season, picking up five wins and losing six of their 15 matches, most recently a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Juventus on 14.
Keinan Davies is tied for the most penalties scored in the Serie A this season (4/4), with the Udinese striker currently joint-third in the Golden Boot race with 10 goals to his name.
Udinese head into Monday’s tie in improved form, putting together two wins and one draw from four games after a three-match losing streak in February, a run which has seen them rise into 11th-place in the league table, level on 39 points with 10th-placed Sassuolo.
Elsewhere, Como put on a show last time out as they stormed to a 5-0 victory over rock-bottom Pisa when the two sides squared off at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on March 22.
Assane Diao, Anastasios Douvikas, Martin Baturina, Nico Paz and Maximo Perrone all found the back of the net in a stellar team display to condemn Pisa to their 16th league defeat.
Como’s goalkeeper Jean Butez is well on course to clinch the Serie A Golden Gloves, with the 30-year-old currently tied for the most clean sheets this season (14) with Inter Milan’s Yan Sommer.
Como have now won three games on the trot and are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, picking up five wins and two draws, including a goalless draw against Inter Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final at the San Siro on March 3.
Having snapped a two-decade absence from the top flight last season when they finished 10th on their return to the Serie A, Fabregas's side are well in contention for Champions League qualification, as they sit fourth in the league table with 57 points from 30 matches, three points above fifth-placed Juventus.
While Como will look to make it six straight league wins and move within two points of third-placed Napoli, they will need to be at their best against an Udinese side who are on an impressive seven-game unbeaten home run in this fixture since March 1981.

Whispers predicts: Udinese 1-3 Como
Como head into Monday’s tie firing on all cylinders, and with five wins from their last five league games, it is no surprise they are backed to come away with all three points at 1.65.
A win for Udinese is currently priced at 4.50, but with Runjaic’s men unbeaten in their seven home games against Como, a Udinese win or Draw at 2.10 could be a tempting punt for risk-takers.
Four of the visitors’ last five games have seen at least three goals scored, and a Como victory + Over 2.5 goals at 2.87 is perhaps the value bet for us, while the correct score market has a correct score of 1-3 currently priced at 15.00.
> Over 2.5 goals - Yes at 2.00 | Likelihood: Possible
> Como + 2.5 goals at 2.87 | Likelihood: Possible
> Total corners - Under 10.5 at 2.00 | Likelihood: Probable
> Correct score: 2-1 at 8.50 | Likelihood: Outsider
