Udinese turned in another solid team display in their final outing before the international break, when they secured a 2-0 victory over Genoa on March 20.
Following a goalless first half at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp finished off a well-worked team goal to break the deadlock in the 66th minute before Keinan Davies made sure of the result with a 96th-minute strike.
With that result, Udinese continue to impress on their travels this year, taking three wins and one draw from six Serie A away matches since January, with defeats only against Lecce and Bologna.
While home comfort awaits, Runjaic’s men have blown hot and cold at the Bluenergy Stadium this season, picking up five wins and losing six of their 15 matches, most recently a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Juventus on 14.
