Spurs have found some much-needed form in the last couple of weeks, but they are not out of the woods yet, and a defeat to Leeds on Monday could see them finish the weekend back in the bottom three.

After winning two consecutive matches, you would be forgiven for thinking all was well once again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, the reality is that Tottenham are still just one point above the relegation zone, and they could end the weekend back in it if they fail to beat Leeds and West Ham beat Arsenal.

On the flip side, this could be a huge weekend for Spurs. West Ham are expected to lose to the Gunners on Sunday, which will give Roberto De Zerbi's men a golden opportunity to move four points clear of the Hammers with just two games to play.

De Zerbi deserves credit for putting the club in this position. When he took over last month, he inherited a squad that had not won a league match in 2026, but they have now picked up seven points from the Italian's four games in charge.

For the clash with Leeds on Monday night, De Zerbi remains without Dominic Solanke, Guglielmo Vicario, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert, Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero. James Maddison could make his first appearance of the season off the bench.

As for Leeds, they will feel that their work for the season is now done, even if they are not yet mathematically safe. They could be by the time the match kicks off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though, providing Arsenal do overcome West Ham as they are expected to do so.

It's been an excellent couple of months for Daniel Farke's men, who have picked up 10 points from the last 12 on offer in the Premier League to become one of the most in-form teams in the division.

While the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea will still hurt, they should not let it define their season. They could still finish as high as eighth if they win all three of their remaining fixtures, although a realistic push for Europe will have to wait until next season.

Farke revealed in his pre-match press conference that Noah Okafor is now out until next season, and the forward joins Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ilia Gruev in the treatment room.
