Inter Milan to win

Inter Milan have lost just one of their last seven Serie A matches.

Torino will take on Inter Milan on Sunday, 26 April, as the visitors inch closer to their 21st Serie A title.

Inter need just four points from their final five matches to secure the Scudetto, and they will fancy their chances of picking up three of those this weekend against a Torino side with nothing to play for.

It's been more of the same for Torino this season, who are on track to finish in the middle of the table for the fifth consecutive season.

A big part of what makes the hosts so reliable in Serie A season upon season is the fact that they are good at beating the teams they are expected to beat, which always gives them a cushion against the sides battling relegation.

Across their last three Serie A matches, they've played Pisa (20th), Verona (19th) and Cremonese (17th) and have walked away with seven points, but at the same time, they do struggle against the big boys. Last month, they lost to both AC Milan and Napoli and performing better against these sides is what can help them move into European contention next season.

There is seemingly a desire for more within the club's hierarchy. Marco Baroni was dismissed as manager in February and replaced by Roberto D'Aversa, and the new boss has done well so far.

For the clash with Inter, D'Aversa will be without the injured duo of Tino Anjorin and Zakaria Aboukhlal.

As for Inter Milan, domestic glory has been on the cards for the vast majority of the season.

I Nerazzurri have adjusted to life without Simone Inzaghi brilliantly, and in Cristian Chivu, they have a man who could easily be their manager for the next decade.

Inter have played more expansively under Chivu and are on track to score more goals than they managed in any season under Inzaghi. After 33 games, Inter have scored 79 goals (2.4 goals per game), while across Inzaghi's four seasons at San Siro, Inter averaged 2.1 goals per league match.

A win on Sunday would all-but crown Inter as champions due to their excellent goal difference, but one more point will be needed before the celebrations can properly start.

For the clash with Torino, Chivu is set to be without star man, Lautaro Martinez, while Alessandro Bastoni is also a doubt.
