Bayern agree terms with Woltemade
Bayern Munich are keen to strengthen their attack this summer, having explored the possibility of signing Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens. However, Williams prefers to join Barcelona, and Gittens wants to return to England. The Bundesliga giants have accordingly set their sights on another attacker.
According to Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have reached a “full verbal agreement” with Nick Woltemade over a summer transfer. The 23-year-old versatile striker, who scored 17 goals last term, has accepted a contract until 2030. The Bavarians will now open talks with VfB Stuttgart to sign their highly-rated talent. Arsenal in talks to sign Mosquera
Mikel Arteta sure does love keeping clean sheets. Early this week, Arsenal secured the services of Brentford defensive midfielder Christian Norgaard and now the North Londoners are working on signing a new centre-back.
As per The Athletic, Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, with Arteta understood to be determined to make a defensive signing this summer. The 20-year-old Spain youth international is a physically imposing player, capable of playing at centre-back and right-back. Mbeumo set for United medical
Over in Manchester, a breakthrough has been made in Manchester United's attempt to sign Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroon international has had his heart set on a move to United since early June. However, Brentford have shown reluctance to part ways with their right-winger.
It has been widely reported that United's second bid for Mbeumo has been received well by the Bees, with the two clubs now discussing finer details before giving the green light. As per talkSPORT, the 25-year-old is expected to undergo medical at United next week, with the Red Devils keen to announce his signing before the start of their pre-season tour in July. The Mirror reveals Brentford have broadly agreed a deal to sign Feyenoord's 20-year-old playmaker Antoni Milambo. The Premier League outfit will pay an initial £17million plus £4.25m in bonuses for the Netherlands U21 international. Weah snubs Forest
Earlier this week, Nottingham Forest reached an agreement with Juventus to sign both Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula for a total of around £20million. The Old Lady accordingly allowed the Reds to hold talks with the players over personal terms.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano now claims Weah has turned down a move to Forest and has no intention of accepting their proposal. The English outfit have been informed of the USMNT winger's decision.
